We say a sad farewell to one of our dear members of Carron Kith—Ellen Thomson.
Ellen passed away after a short illness on Sunday 22 June, surrounded by her loving family.
Ellen and her daughter Aileen have been regular attendees of the Movie Group for many years and Ellen will be sadly missed.
Ellen’s daughter Aileen is one of our Trustees and is a great help and support to the Group, introducing many of our new members.
Everyone will remember Ellen’s lovely bright smile and great sense of fun.
She was a great fan of our old movies and would sing along to many of the hits from Gene Kelly, Judy Garland and Danny Kaye.
Ellen’s funeral has been arranged for Falkirk Crematorium for Tuesday 4th July at 12.15.

Thank you for such a lovely tribute to mum. Mum loved the Movie Group. She always looked forward to meeting everyone and having her bag of pick n mix when she arrived and her ice cream half way through the film.
