Carron Kith applied for another year of funding from the Falkirk Community Choices Small Grant Fund in February this year, and came second place in the public vote – unfortunately this means that we did not receive a grant.
The fund is aimed at small community based projects that make a difference in our community.
The voting is by ward (which doesn’t recognise the support we give to the older and isolated people from across all areas of Falkirk, from Denny to Bo’ness) and is mainly online (which limits many of our members who do not have access to the internet.
However, we were successful last year and will carry on with the help of the many generous donations from our members and their family.
Our members would like to congratulate all those projects that were successful this year!
